Consumer Debt Collection
Pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the debtor is given 30 days to contact us to resolve the debt. If the debtor fails to return any communications after the 30 days, I file a lawsuit according to my client's wishes. Once a judgment is obtained, the creditor's unpaid debt is collected through wage garnishments, bank accounts, levy, and foreclosed mechanics liens.
Commercial Debt Collection
Commercial debt collection services do not require compliance with the FDCPA. Therefore, I am merciless. I give debtors 3-7 days to return correspondence and resolve the debt. If a lawsuit is needed, we collect through a judgment.
Effective Collection Services
Insistent visits and phone calls to the debtor's home and place of business can be very effective in retrieving payments. Because I am a licensed attorney and not a collection agency, most debtors recognize the seriousness of the matter and many debts are reconciled without a lawsuit. Additionally, as an experienced collections lawyer, I perform skip tracing services to locate a debtor's unknown location.
No Fees Unless You Collect!
Do not let the debt go unpaid. Contact Georgia debt collection lawyer, Joe Perry Redd. For your convenience, turning over of accounts can usually be handled by phone and fax.
